Clean and not overly crowded. Excellent equipment.
I was a member at Cañada College Athletic Center for about a year before I started medical school. The facility is impressive, clean, modern, and has all the equipment you need for a solid workout. Unfortunately, my experience with the management was extremely disappointing. The manager, an older gentleman I believe named Rich, enforced policies in an inflexible, black-and-white manner. I was really excited to join this new gym, but after just a few visits, I’m already reconsidering my decision. The space is nice and the equipment looks great in theory, but it’s so overcrowded that actually using anything is a challenge. Even during non-peak hours, it's packed. Machines are constantly taken, there’s barely room in the weight area, and it feels like the gym sold way more memberships than it can realistically handle.
