I had a difficult time with contractors who claimed to be able to do staircases until I contacted Carlos. From that point on, I had the best contractor for the job. Carlos brought with him a portfolio of his custom work, gave me a bid (that was actually very fair for the quality of his work) and an actual date for the job. We had an appointment set up for Carlos to come look at our home and give us an estimate of the job. However, about 30 minutes before our appointment time I got an email stating there was a family emergency and he needed to postpone the appointment until the following Tuesday. I responded by letting him know that the following Tuesday at the same time would work fine. No big deal, except Tuesday came and went and no Carlos.
