I am a student at C2 education Columbia. While I started out with SAT prep, I found that the subject matter preparation was very nice. In terms of specific teachers, Mr. Ellie, Mr. Anoop, Mr. Alex, and Mr. Cian helped me with my school subjects and getting 5’s on my AP exams. The college counselors are also very nice and they have given me good advice throughout my high school journey!
We had great experience with C2 Columbia. We used our hours mostly for SAT and AP prep. He got 1550 for SAT, up by 200 points in just two tests with their help. KUDOS to their tutors especially Mr Cian! He also got all 5s for his APs. Ms Esther and the new director Ms Nam are both extremely knowledgeable and experienced. My experience with C2 Education in Columbia, Maryland was horrible. This review is not to tell my bad experience, but to inform future parents on how to get the most from Esther (director of C2 in Columbia). At the beginning of the consultation, Esther was so confident and ready to sign you up and take your money. I paid almost $15K, so I know. Don’t get caught up in her words. A friend introduced me to C2, so I had a consultation with Esther. I signed up for a 240-hour contract. When I asked her to write ‘240 hours’ on the contract, she refused. She said she was providing 40 hours of service at her own discretion and would just inform the staff member in charge. She said it was a chain and that was the only way it could be done, so I assumed that was the case. We never received the whole 40 hours. This center is the worst. They called and took money for SAT test saying that the counselor will meet with parents and explain all options after the test. The center has called and canceled 3 times on the consultation after the test. They are also refusing to return the money that was paid . Worst ethics ! What a scam, stay away Update on this: we are having to file fraud claim with our credit card company . They are refusing a refund. Be very careful before giving money here
