The doctor without provocation was verbally offensive. I was there for help with digestive issues. Rather than use the opportunity to assist or offer education he leaned forward and in a nasty tone told me my gut was lazy because I'm on specific diabetic medicine so the slow digestion was ALL my fault for taking the medication my specialist placed me on. Dr. Shah was extremely patronizing and made me feel like a pseudo-intellectual for bringing my concerns about my microbiome up to him. He was not at all interested in treating the true nature of my symptoms. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2019, then in 2021 I developed crohns and c diff. This man was extremely callous towards me during the most difficult moments of my life and the staff hung up on me multiple times when trying to reach them. I see dr Yarborough and I pay my co pay every time I called to day for appointment they informed me of a balance which I pay alittle each time to go if its only a few dollars on it im not rich and I have had a stroke and you know billing wont schedule me an appointment to see the dr on less I pay 100 dollars on balance I ant got that kind of money right now I thought dr see there patients money are not I have bad issues whit my stomach on medication from dr but not helping I don't know what to do the dr is good it is just th... read more
When my husband had his first visit I was concerned because Dr Shah seemed brash. Was very "no nonsense". Wanted all details and when my husband didnt know the exact medications and doses, I answered. Dr Shah stated "It's nice that you have your own secretary but this is YOUR body, so you need to know this." We were irritated but at this point in his medical issues we just wanted help. I had used Dr. Shah for several years for treatment of UC. He was caring and very thoughtful when he treated me.
Its a busy place. People have issues. But there pretty quick and do answer your questions. Been going there for 2 years. I'd recommend
