One of the nicest doctors ever. I was worried about a stomach condition, and he was very reassuring and helped a lot. He also did my colonoscopy, and everything went well with that.
Not accommodating
Sits with his pad constantly writing while you are talking but explains nothing. Sends his nurse back in with a medication and they send you out the door. One medication caused my stomach to stop working. It relaxed my stomach so much I couldn't digest my food and got bloated to the point I thought I was dying. I called his office and the nurse got mean with me He is arrogant, cocky, and has a smirk on his face when you ask him a question. Makes you feel like all your questions are dumb
This doctor prescribed medication before ordering an upper GI test to see what was causing gas around my heart (front and back). The medication then caused my blood pressure to go up and landed me in the ER several times. Once off the medication, I asked for a nutritionist who has helped me with a diet that has significantly reduced the gas. In my opinion, it would seem logical to start with the test to see what my situation was before prescribing medication.
Very professional and caring. Great bedside manner. Very knowledge with what I have del dealt with, GERD. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know.
Poor communication, had zero interest in any questions I have. Is combative and quick to undermine my confidence and sense of security. I was so upset I left crying. Had to wait almost 2months for an urgent appointment.
I love the fact that he is up on my conditions & knows what needs to be done. However, I feel like I inconvenienced him by asking a few questions before my procedure. I was really concerned about a few things & he basically brushed me off & said we'd discuss it later. But I had concerns right then. But overall I do like Dr Yarborough.
