I am so very grateful for the excellent and expert care that I received at Virginia Hospital Center. My surgeon, Dr. Calvin David, was highly skilled performing a robotic laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery. I returned home the same day after frequent checks by the caring nurses and for the next few days experienced only mild discomfort, easily remedied by a combination of Advil and Tylenol. Dr. David and NP Julia provided exceptional care from start to finish on my surgery. They were compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly including what to expect both for the surgery and afterwards. The surgery went smoothly, and pain was minimal such that I only needed ibuprofin for several days. I felt completely supported throughout the process and highly recommend their team.
