I recently took my son’s car here for a misfiring issue. We had already run a diagnostic and shared the code with the shop, asking them to help narrow down the cause. Instead of investigating further, they repeated the same diagnostic and told us the only solution was to replace the entire engine for nearly $7,000. When I picked up the car, I was told they had not inspected it internally, and that they did not have the tools to check the timing.
