I ordered shades and vertical blinds from C & M which were not installed for over a year because of issues with the building beyond our control. When the shades were installed one vertical shade did not work. C & M admitted there was a defect with the shade track but sent me a bill to replace it. I felt the part should have been warranteed because it was obviously defective, but C & M disagreed and insisted that I should pay for the part.
