No nonsense and highly informed. A great resource for quality firearms instruction and purchases. His prices are fair and he will steer you in the right direction when making a decision. This isn't a gun store with a huge selection of mediocre weapons and a sales clerk pushing you to buy tacti-cool crapola. Instead, it's a FFL with decades of experience who also offers privacy.

Lt. Col. Chris Comer, the owner of C & L, is the most knowledgeable person you can imagine when it comes to firearms. He has dedicated his life to helping others understand guns, make the right purchases, know how to use them safely and with absolute efficiency and accuracy. He can be gruff, but this is as it should be. In his business he knows that if you make stupid mistakes, people can die. He cares deeply about the people who come to him for help. You can't do better!

Comer is a true master of his craft and was able to instruct me, a complete newbie to guns, in how to safely handle a gun, how to clean a revolver and a semi-automatic hand gun, how to reload a revolver and a semi-automatic, how to properly hold, aim, and shoot, proper trigger pull, etc., etc., etc. He also helped me to think creatively about how to carry and conceal, how to properly hide home defense weapons, and how to prepare for many different scenarios in which one might need to defend one's self with and without a gun.... read more

Most knowledgeable gun dealer I've every met. Just purchased my 4th from him and won't go to anyone else. He is retired military and firearms instructor for concealed carry. Have 2 friends who attended his sessions and they both raved about it and him. I can't count the number of time I've called and if nobody was in, the voice mail system works and they always got back to me so I don't know what happened last August unless the fires in that area did something weird.
