First, I want to say I've been to CK many times before. Was always a good experience up to yesterday. I am very disappointed in what they did yesterday. The palace is lumpy, like it maybe old. And when I pointed out there were some problems, the nail tech didn't like it. She try to blow me off. Not nice I drove from Tacoma to get to them. I'm not sure that will ever happen again.
Jenny and her team always do an amazing job! I feel so welcomed every time I come in — everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive. They’re always very thorough with their services, and the massages are absolutely amazing. The color options are gorgeous too! I got a stunning chrome magnetic color on my toes that I’ll definitely be getting again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and beautiful results! I have been going here for several years and the shellac/gel nails last about 3 weeks.
I came in for a manicure and pedicure. When I went to pay, I was charged $100.00 plus a tip of $20.00. Jennifer, the owner, could not give me a receipt that was readable. Told me to look at her machine only. I called my friend and was told she only pays $60.00. I called Jennifer back and she was extremely rude to me and ended up hanging up on me, telling me she has to speak with the owner. She is the owner, who bought the salon. Design work is poor (you can see missing likes on the star, large globes on my opposite hand), she kept hurting me with the nail file repeatedly. At the end she changed me $75 for overlay on my natural nail, when I handed her $80 she said “ok bye thank you” and closed the till. Which is fine I was going to leave a tip even though I hated my nails but to assume that and not even offer the client their change is crazy.
