Had a great experience at CJ Forge! Donnie was an excellent teacher and could have not been any more Patient, kind, and Informative. Will be spreading the word to anyone who might enjoy this art form. Donnie’s passion for the craft is apparent in his knowledge and willingness to teach. Anyone who might like this should give it a go and at minimum will be Intrigued at the possibilities. 10/10 would recommend.
Had a blast working with Donnie. Very laid back and fun to work with. He is willing to adjust to any skill level. You can tell he enjoys his craft.
I received a private blacksmithing lesson as a gift from my wife. I could not be happier with the experience. Donnie was a fantastic teacher. You can safely and comfortably come in with zero blacksmithing knowledge or experience and leave the place with creative pieces you created with your own hands. I highly recommend you wait no longer and get yourself booked in a lesson with him!
Great time with on hand instruction that made it incredibly interesting and fun. Donnie is passionate and open to any and all questions and he know the answers.
If you've had any interest in blacksmithing, come take a course here. Donnie was an excellent teacher. He demonstrated what the goals were for each heat and how to achieve them before you try, then let you try, and gave useful guidance, but didn't overcoach. I took the 4-Hour course with my dad, and we both enjoyed every minute. I could have been there the entire day, and I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time 😆.
