Absolutely fantastic experience, Donnie helped me understand exactly what it was I was doing to the steel. He had a satisfying answer for any question I had and was friendly and patient while we learned. Very safety forward, helping us all do everything the safe way. Highly recommend if you have any interest at all.
I recently took a class/apprenticeship at this forge, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind, making the whole learning process both fun and challenging. He was always willing to share as much as I was comfortable learning and provided thoughtful guidance every step of the way. My wife gifted me an afternoon private lesson at CJ Forge with Donnie, and it was such a great experience. I loved every minute of it, and it was awesome be able to try this craft that I've been interested in for a while. Donnie isna great instructor, and I can't say enough nice things about my time. Would recommend for anyone interested!
A unique and valuable experience for anyone! Donnie is a clear and patient instructor who taught the ropes so well that we were able to create some impressive items and feel a sense of accomplishment in only a few hours. Highly recommended!
My son and I had the opportunity to experience blacksmithing at CJ Forge! Cant say enough great things about this experience with Donnie. We learned so much and had a great time. Definitely hope to visit again!! Got to make some really cools things!!
