I just took a one on one lesson with Donnie and had a great time. It was informative, hands on, and I got to make 3 amazing pieces that I get to display in my home. He was very good at explaining and demonstrating each step, but let me do 95% of the work myself for my own pieces, which really helped me learn each technique and add on for the next piece. Had a great time learning basic forging techniques! Donnie is an outstanding instructor and I plan on taking his intermediate blacksmithing class as soon it becomes available.
Such an incredible experience going to a 1:1 class with Donnie! Donnie was so nice and knowledgable and patient. His whole warehouse was just a showcase of the sheer talent he has.
