I would never recommend this MOT center. Last year, during my MOT, my vehicle’s reading was in kilometres, but they recorded it as miles. This simple mistake has caused a huge problem for me — it looks like the car has done far more mileage than it really has, and as a result, it has seriously reduced the value of my vehicle. When I discovered the mistake and went back to them, they admitted it was their error but told me, “we can’t do anything about it, do what you can, no solution.
I had the MOT done on my Ford KUGA at CG Autos today as part of my AA Smart Care Membership, from start to finish I was treated in a friendly manner and the MOT result with some advisories was clearly talked through with me. All in all I am very satisfied with the service I received today and will definitely use CG Autos again for general servicing and other work.
Extremely poor experience with CG Autos of Wakefield – avoid at all costs. I initially went to CG Autos due to oil leaks and poor performance with my BMW. I mentioned that another garage suspected the turbo was faulty and provided their invoice, but CG Autos dismissed it and instead replaced the timing chain case, insisting the turbo was fine.
