If you are an injured worker do not go see this doctor, he completely failed on following up with a septal in my nose, clearly the doctor knows that the hole is going to get bigger regardless. He did not intervene within 10 months to do something about it,nor set up a following appointment. He practiced like a councilor instead of treatment it asap ,now the whole has gotten way too big for surgery he said, he sent me home with cream. he acted like a councilor. Absolutely would not recommend him. After a long wait of almost a year and a half they canceled my appointment. They did not send me any emails or forms to fill out either. Terrible practice

Huge thanks to Dr C Bakala (and staff) as well as all the other doctors and nurses at Kelowna General Hospital. Dr. Bakala made me feel comfortable and at ease during a very stressful time. Dr. Holmes (?) assisted and also was very kind and understanding. The anesthesiologist (Norm ?) was amazing. All the hospital staff during my 2 day stay showed genuine caring and were there to help. Everyone was very professional.

I am thankful every day for the amazing skill of Dr. Bakala. Not only do I love the look of my nose, the health benefits have been remarkable. I used to get constant sinus infections and migraines and almost 3 years later I haven’t had either since my surgery. Dr. Bakala is an expert in his field, has fantastic bedside manner and goes above and beyond. I am so glad that he was my doctor and would recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty and/or needing an ears/nose/throat Dr. in the Okanagan.
