My favorite place. Been Boondocking there for 25+ years. Quiet and peaceful. Felt like I was inanother world. Just can’t share where my secret spot is lol.
The reservoir is down 50 or 60 feet. It’s a very long walk to get to the water with your boat.
Pretty good fishing lot of people though
Great area and had lots of water, but lower than "normal". Parking is very limited, so if it's busy, good luck. I was there yesterday, weekday, and about 20 people there. Lots of elk around the area. Road is good, but will get rough the last half mile or so. Lots of dispersed camping on the way. Must climb down to get close to water. Worth the visit for sure!
