Dr Cross is great! Very easy to talk to. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
He accused me of lying about my pain because of my age. Said that people my age that “come in with a tummy ache” are usually fishing for pain medication. To which I told him I have denied every medication besides anti nausea. And would continue to do so because that’s not what I was there for. I was there for an answer to help myself better understand what was going on with my body. He proceeded to look over my chart and diagnose me before even doing my colonoscopy and endoscopy. Dr. Cross is empathetic and extremely thorough. I have a rare combination of conditions and he's always thorough in answering questions during follow-up appointments. He's also performed an EGD an me previously - no complications, did an amazing job. I look forward to continuing my care with his team and everyone else at Mercy.
