A group of four of us stayed for New Years and the college football game, and we had a blast. Brought our medium sized dogs, too, as it is pet friendly. Beautiful, quirky, charming, historic, yet had a sense of peace and tranquility even in the midst of the chaos. Lovely enclosed courtyard where we could enjoy the weather and let the dogs run around. Close enough to the Quarter that we could walk, but far enough out to be affordable and peaceful. Looking forward to our next stay.
In the last quarter-century, we have rented too many houses, apartments and condos to count in New Orleans. Many of them have been charming and comfortable, but we were always on the hunt for something better. Vacationing in New Orleans felt like stepping into a living canvas—especially staying with Michael and Ramona in the Bywater. Their cottage was the perfect size—cozy yet comfortable, spotless, and nestled in a walkable, safe neighborhood that made exploring so easy. The old-school vibes, soulful music drifting through the air, and art woven into every corner gave the whole trip a timeless, creative energy I won’t forget.
A unique and wonderful place to stay. The accommodations are outstanding and convenient to everything you want to do but quiet at the end of the day. The host is amazing and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay on the property and in New Orleans. I’ll be back and will recommend this to anyone wanting a great New Orleans experience.
