Great program; challenging and rewarding. JD/MAcc Joint Degree is a popular option.
Great programs and exceptional professors. Hard to get in certain programs. Professors are helpful and love to teach. Got my Master in Taxation 20yrs ago and visited a class today. Still outstanding lecture and positive learning atmosphere.
Program seems more like it was designed to cause pain that to teach you how to be an accountant. Obviously big firms respect your ability to take abuse from a nationally ranked program, but if you think you are going to emerge ready for the CPA exam, think again.
Image you decide swimming might be a good skill to develop. So you enroll in Swimming 200. They teach you why swimming is the best skill in the world to have and about the different strokes. Your teacher is a former Olympic swimmer and he never has anything negative to say about the sport. At the end of the class, you are sure that you want to be a swimmer.
