When I arrived at Byron Private I was a shell of the person I was. After a severe accident where I was hit my a drunk driver my mental health had deteriorated to a point where I had lost all hope. I didn’t want to talk to anyone and couldn’t look anyone in the eye, I felt alone and that no one could help me anymore. I spent the first 3 days in my room and wanted only to forget the world outside. The staff at Byron Private gently convinced me each day to take little steps day by day and within a week I was taking the morning ... read more

Byron Private is a beautiful place to heal and grow for anyone ready to do so. The grounds are lovely, the buildings well positioned, the accommodation is comfortable and the common areas are well set up. The food is amazing and you'll (never) go hungry. All the staff are all super friendly and caring. The programme is comprehensive but well balanced with daily beach visits , yoga, meditation, sound healings, massage, sauna, movie nights etc. The prsctitioners, therapists and specialists were top shelf both in group and one ... read more

Do not go to Byron private if you are suffering from poor mental health. Byron private is more a place to dry out per se. They were under staffed and the quality of the psychologists was poor. Visit a hospital if you require proper diagnosis etc etc. The mix of veterans as well as other patients together doesn't work well. It creates an environment of us vs them. I hope Byron private can take this advice on and stop taking peoples money for minimal result. Do not enter Byron private if you are having suicidal ideation. They ... read more

Looking back now, I can honestly say that it was one of the best and most important decisions of my life. From the very first intake call to the ongoing support after I left, every interaction was filled with genuine care and compassion. From the moment I arrived, I could feel how special the space was — peaceful, cleansing, and the perfect environment for real healing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly set... read more
