I booked a room using their website for Monday through Friday in January. I wanted a room from the 12th to the 16th. I didn’t initially notice that the site switched my request to the 26th to the 30th, because they were booked the dates I requested. I noticed the mistake within 5 minutes after I booked and paid for the room so I immediately called the Sebel Byron Bay. A representative assured me that they would not charge my credit card based on our conversation. Still, my credit card was charged! When I called to correct th... read more

“Pet Friendly” they were quick to take my $80 but there was nothing for my dog. No water no bed no balcony no space no view , nothing!!! I was extremely disappointed. The rooms wifi didn’t work nor did the phone. Receptionist leaves at 8pm and there is no restaurant just nothing it’s more like a motel than hotel. I paid $858 + $80 for what ?? This is one of my worst experiences ever especially when it comes to value for money. I’m definitely staying at a caravan park next time at least their on the beach. It’s in the cbd and... read more

The room was very basic with no real out look. Advertised ‘courtyard’ was very small with four high walls and the air conditioner compressor blasting very hot air so was totally unusable. Parking is on B2 level of the Aldi car park with lift to reception and the rooms. Hotong Harry’s restaurant opens onto the pool area so no privacy for guests. Feel there are better options for similar priced accommodation. Location is very central for those without transport.

I stayed for two nights with my dog & family. Hotel staff very friendly but unfortunately no wifi for the entire time we were there even after numerous requests. Lounge curtains and carpet badly stained by someone else’s dog so not sure what the use the extra $80 pet surcharge for. Poor communication from GM with me sending a personal email directly to the GM. No place for pets to urinate outside besides a small tree on pavement outside. The rooms were very noisey, with commercial bins with bottles being emptied at around 3a... read more
