I should have read the rating comments before committing to get my car serviced here. Firstly $198 per hour for labour! I’m not sure why they were angry I chose to bring my Ranger here for its first service. I had 2 warranty items, they said they fixed one (but they didn’t), and did the usual no fault found with the second item, even though there is a hard fault. I got the ‘please monitor’! Take your car literally anywhere else. I booked my car in for 2x safety recalls , a tyre pressure monitoring issue and a infotainment system update. I made sure to make it clear that I wanted the sync system updated when I booked the appointment to the booking staff who absolutely, to her annoyance of me making it very clear what I was after, assured it it was noted on the job card. I've been taking my car to Byrne Ford Service in Glentanna street. Some faults were easier to fix and track down than others, sometimes the repairs took a little longer than I had patience for, but I've got to give it to these guys and girls at Byrne Ford, they never give up. I have just taken my 2 new Ford XLT, and Wildtrac 2025 models in for their peace of mind service, the first ever service Bringing the Wildtrac in 2nd, I mentioned on "both" cars the windscreen wipers seem to rub off black marks on your fingers. The question was excused because the XLT was all ready to go.. But.. when I came back for the Wildtrac, I was told they wiped the blades, with a solution and a cloth.. well gee, that's decent! Been there several times now. Nothing like talking people that are supposed to be a service industry but dont provide anything of the sort. Its seams everything is a hassle, they not interested in really talking to you or going out of their way to help. Its comes across as rude and very uninviting. Its a pitty, the sales person who sold the car to me was great, but service department is shitty. Not even worth 1 star.
