Mr. Bryd is a tenacious trouble shooter. He will find the problem and fix the problem. The shop does high quality work for a fair price. He has been servicing my Ford Ranger for years - a/c work, engine work, brake work, electrical work, etc. He is honest in his dealings. This is the kind of shop where you can take your vehicle and say "I need a brake job" and Mr. Bryd will call you later and say "We checked your brakes, you don't need a brake job". I highly recommend Bryd's Automotive Repair.

I have never given any business a 5 star review; however, Byrd's Automotive earned it for me. They are honest and fair, but also provide great work and a great experience. This morning my vehicle wouldn't start. I got towed first to AAA, but was told they couldn't work on it today due to their workload. I called Byrd's and they began working on it right away. My daughter's Honda CRV air conditioner broke. Dealership in Charleston checked it out, said compressor had exploded and sent shards through the entire system and quoted $2,800 in writing to fix. Byrd examined it, said he didn't see any major issues, did a leak check, recharged freon and it has been working great for 3 wks for $130.

I have had many repairs there over 15 years and I am a big fan of what Mr. Byrd says and does. He goes all out to find a problem and solve it! He has the very best customer service!!! I highly recommend him! He takes the time to explain everything to the customer. He has helped me many times. He is the old fashioned car mechanic with a lot of common sense that you can not find today. It is a mom and pop type of business. He knows what he is talking about!!!! He is very honest. You can trust him.

Byrd's Automotive is great!! As a woman, I'm always expecting to be taken to the cleaners by auto repair shops, but they are really trustworthy. I would have been scalped at the dealer. Byrd's was recommended by a friend, and it turned out to be a good recommendation.

GREAT SERVICE & EXCELLENT PRICES – My customer service experience was excellent due to I just moved in the area and checked out other prices around. Byrd's Automotive Repair took time to explain what the real reason for my initial visit and how much it took to repair it. Now I am hook! A great experience forces you to return to excellent service!!!!!
