This was our first time using Bird automotive. James, the mechanic was very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a written estimate before any work was done to our car, that way there were no hidden costs. We gave our approval to work on our car and him and his staff kept us informed on any progress. He kept his word on the date that he said he would finish. We are very pleased with his work, we will definitely use them again. We highly recommend Byrd automotive. We found our mechanic! I went to Byrd Automotive because the reviews were so excellent. I had my Corvette towed to his place and understood that I would have to wait as I was bringing it in unannounced. My gear shift assemble was stuck, unable to put it into gear and I had a leak in my power steering. James called me and told me that I also had an oil leak, which I have never seen any leakage before, but told him to go ahead and fix it. I recently brought in my 2005 Toyota Tundra due to a loud clicking noise coming from underneath the vehicle when driving or turning at low speeds. After researching the issue, I came across a video where someone experienced a similar problem, which was attributed to a broken transmission mount. As a volunteer Firefighter I have to have Emergency Lights on my personal truck to get to medical emergencies and fires (brush, grass, and structures). Although I thought another person had installed them correctly, I had a short somewhere. I was referred to Byrd Automotive and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
