Been here 3 hours trying to close my deceased mother’s account. The teller is extremely rude and no one here has customer service to even let us know what’s going on. This should have taken 30 minutes at the most. It was so much better when it was inland bank. They are all extremely rude and probably should not be working with the public
Honestly save your time and money and go elsewhere for a bank. Ive had an account here since it was Inland Bank since about 2008. It used to be an INCREDIBLE establishment till it was bought by ByLine. its been nothing but problems since the transition, The staff is not the nicest or helpful. online account access is constantly having issues, the app is the worst. the savings APR% is AWFUL the place itself has really lost that small town bank feel and its just not worth it. I gave the teller 3 20 dollar bills and asked for a 50 and a 20 dollar in exchange. I asked what did this have to do with my account and he replied it was a federal policy. I called the bank when I got home and she explained they cannot help if do not have an account with them according to their policy. Wow, there is a fine way to acquire new customers!
