Stopped in for an early dinner at the recommendation of a staff member at the Blackburn Inn. Gabrielle was our server and did a fantastic job of guiding us through the menu. Upon her advice we started with the crab dip (delicious) and then the Salmon risotto ( one of the best dishes of that type we have had anywhere). For dessert my wife had the peanut butter pie and I had the creme brulee cheesecake. Both great. Well i’d like to start my experience with something positive; the employees in the Downtown bistro are fantastic, to name a few; Nancy, she is immaculate. Nancy seems to know the restaurant in and out. it’s fun to come in and not just get a good meal with great service, but to watch her work. The host was very nice and welcomed me and my family. There was also another girl there named Sarah, she was as friendly as ever. Now, I gotta say that restaurant is nasty. Management, where are you?? What is going on behind the walls??... read more
