Very enjoyable place great view of the water. Can't wait to get back.
Walking in to find a dead cockroach certainly wasn't a great first impression of the rental condo... And the pull-out coach mattress made, uh, crunchy noises when adjusting it to fit the sheet (as if there were copious amounts of... something soaking between the mattress and support fabric). So, certainly not the cleanest place I've ever stayed at. The beach was nice, though!
This is the best place that I have ever stayed at. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly (even though I know I ask tons of questions). The room was beautiful and the view was even better. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
THE VIEW IS GREAT FOR FLAT WATER WAVES; HOWEVER, WE HAD TO PAY TO PARK IN THE PLACE WE WERE STAYING. ANOTHER NOTE: THERE IS OIL IN THE WATER AT GALVESTON, YOU CAN SMELL IT AND SEE IT ON THE SEASHORE. OUR ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED AND DISGUSTING AND WE ARRIVED 1 HOUR LATE. THE BEACH CHAIRS, BRING YOUR OWN. THEY ARE NOT FOR THE BEACH AND THE ONES PUT ON THE BEACH, THE VENDOR WANTS $45 A DAY FOR 2 CHAIRS AND AN UMBRELLA.
