I recently started going to Mahalia I have had a 2 colour appointments and recently had a keratin straightening appointment that has completely changed my life. She does an amazing job on my colour and is always so friendly and has great energy. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Mahalia is an amazing hairdresser and colourist. When I first moved to the Sunshine Coast I tried three other hairdressers before I saw Mahalia and now I won’t go anywhere else. My hair colour and cut always looks great and I get comments all the time asking who has done my hair. I’ve been seeing Mahalia for a couple years now and never leave her studio without being in love with what she has done. Always an amazing time getting my hair done and chatting with her, always accommodating to what I need.
In the semi-deserted block of businesses adjacent to the Peregian Breeze Housing Estate you will find By Mahalia Hair. The salon space itself is uninspired and the quality of the experience unfortunately reflects this very boring, conventional approach. Mahalia was not very warm, friendly or enthusiastic and was incapable of making basic conversation. Styling is competent but nothing beyond the ordinary.
I’ve been seeing Mahalia for years now and can honestly say she is a hair magician! She has worked her magic, transforming my hair back to its natural glow that grows out naturally. She takes the time to understand what I want while also offering expert advice and knowledge on what would work best for my hair type. The space she has created is beautiful and I always walk away feeling so happy with my hair!
