I had an incredible experience with By Kinsman from day 1. Stepping into the lovely Hawthorn studio, I met Steph, who designs and makes everything herself in Melbourne. I had visited a couple of other dressmakers/suppliers beforehand and most of them felt a bit mass-produced, whereas By Kinsman was a completely personalised experience. I’m not sure where to start, Steph and Lois and incredible, from the moment I met Steph, I felt so safe and understood. She made the entire process, (pre and post Covid) so smooth and wonderful! My dress was incredible, it was handmade perfectly to suit my shape and frame and I have never felt more beautiful! What a perfect experience and I would recommend ByKinsman to absolutely anyone 🩷 I feel so lucky to have found Steph and Lois to make my wedding dress! Thank you, so much!
Steph created custom sleeves and did the alterations for my bridal gown. From the first appointment she was gracious, knowledgeable and so passionate about her craft. She understood my vision and her attention to detail was next level. I’d highly recommend Steph to anyone for gowns, additions and alterations!
Steph created my absolute dream custom wedding dress for me and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She just got my whole vision from start to finish and I truely felt like a princess on my wedding day. The quality, fabric and design were incredible, couldn't fault her work and craftsmanship.
