I had a great experience at this salon. The space was clean and welcoming. There was a small wait, but nothing major — especially considering they’re open on Sundays, which I really appreciated. The team works well together and creates a positive atmosphere. It truly has that traditional Puerto Rican/Dominican salon feel — Spanish-speaking, great music, and good energy. When I arrived, I was greeted and asked what service I wanted. I waited about 10 minutes before being seen, which was fine. However, while washing my hair, the stylist asked if I wanted to add a treatment. I politely declined. After that, she began speaking in Spanish (which I understand fluently) and called me “crazy,” suggesting that I probably didn’t want to spend money. I’ve been coming here since I was 21 I’m going on 26 years old. So I’ve been here A couple times. Obviously things have changed and some people have left because it was only 2 people there all morning… I was charged $50 after sitting there for 3 1/2 hours.. they said my hair was too short for curlers then tried to charge me for not having a roller set at $60 but it’s marketed at$35 and Up!
