By Design Interiors (Jessica Byrd) is excellent. They resuced us from a poor quality Kitchen and Bathroom remodel where we had to fire the previous contractor due to large tile 24"x12"being laid without a leveling system which resulted in significant lippage. In addition among other poor quality work, a new kittchen exhaust fan was not installed correctly. We switched to By Design Interiors who turned our lemons into lemonade. We were working on a small bathroom reno (on a budget) and started with Lowes thinking it would be much more economical. After several trips, inexperienced help, poor customer service and returns, we decided to give Jessica at By Design a chance. Contacted and a designer came to our home to review multiple projects. No follow up after six weeks. Stopped by the store requesting that she call us. Ten weeks and still no word. Evidently because we are not at the lake they are not interested?

Jessica was very nice and helped us pick our flooring and there was a huge selection of flooring in the store. We spent a considerable amount of time in the store and were not rushed. The only issue was the communications. Many unanswered emails and phone calls. Took months to receive my bill despite emailing her my new email address and even reminding her I still needed to pay which she didn't reply to, then she sent the bill to the wrong email which I fortunately checked before it was disabled. I have not used them personally for anything but I just wanted to give them a shout out for going out of their way to help us. The company I worked for accidentally had an order shipped to their address by mistake and they not only helped me track it down but they also delivered it to us. They went above and beyond to help us, I am sure they will go above and beyond to help customers with their needs.
