Tourist Trap – This place supposedly has been here for years. I'm guessing the only reason it's survived is that it has a big sign and is on the water. We waited almost 2 hours, but subjected ourselves to the wait with the mistaken assumption that "it must be good if everyone's waiting." We couldn't have been more wrong. The food was poor to fair. Lovely Site, Mediocre Food – There are a lot of Fish Restaurants on Maui. Most tourists will not eat at the same place twice, so mediocre cooking can be saved by a Great View. This is true of Buzz's Wharf. Three fish of the day were offered; Mahimahin, Ono, and Opakapaka. After ordering Ono with Mac Nuts, at the last minute the server declared that the kitchen was "out" of macnuts and I was served an overcooked fish covered with a caper and somewhat lemony overthick sauce.
