Quotes for the siding replacement came in from several places and the spread between them was wide enough to be worrying. What settled it was that these ones broke out the wrap, the trim and the hauling as separate lines, so I could actually see I was comparing the same job across the board. The others hadn't bothered. The work came in where the paper said it would and the place is done. I'd shop it the same way again.

got serious about siding back in spring and got a few quotes before landing on Prime. their estimator actually walked the whole house with me and explained what was going on with the old boards which nobody else really did. took a few weeks to schedule which i was fine with. crew showed up and knocked out the hardie install in about a week. they also swapped our gutters while they were at it since the old ones were beat up. house looks like a different place now
Started with a quote in late spring. they came out measured everything and walked me through hardie options vs the cheaper stuff. took a few weeks to get on the schedule but they told me that upfront. once they started it moved fast. crew was on site early every day and the lead checked in with me before they wrapped up. paperwork for the warranty came thru about a week after. solid process from start to finish no surprises
