got serious about siding back in spring and got a few quotes before landing on Prime. their estimator actually walked the whole house with me and explained what was going on with the old boards which nobody else really did. took a few weeks to schedule which i was fine with. crew showed up and knocked out the hardie install in about a week. they also swapped our gutters while they were at it since the old ones were beat up. house looks like a different place now

woodpeckers had destroyed our cedar siding in multiple spots and every spring they came back to make new holes. patching wasn't worth it anymore because the wood was soft in too many areas. full hardie replacement solved it obviously since they can't peck through fiber cement. that's been about 8 months now no new holes.
