We use fresh fruit and unsalted butter, not lard or shortening and we get our beautiful designs and finishes by using our much loved whipping cream mousse and not fondant. We now sell floral silks and ribbons for convenience or brides may provide their own or arrange for fresh floral.

RecommendedButtercream’s location in Minnetonka was very easy to work with and they even communicated with our vendors to make everything run smoothly. During this pandemic they were very accommodating with multiple date changes. Our Lemon Strawberry Split wedding cake was absolutely delicious! Amazing cakes and desserts. They made us a fantastic wedding cake for our day and I have sampled their desserts at many events. Five Stars!!!
This is the contracted vendor via our wedding venue, and they’re great. Cake was delicious, pretty, and we also ordered a buffet of extra sweets for a reasonable price.

Awful customer service. No matter how delicious their cakes are, I would never go here again, they do not care if you’re happy or not.
Buttercream cakes are delicious, but I found them challenging to work with. I ordered a celebration cake and when I picked up the cake the writing was not what we had discussed. After much discussion, Buttercream corrected the error but when the cake was served I discovered it was the wrong flavor. I ordered Raspberry Royale and received the Raspberry Chocolate Diva. Buttercream seems to have a "take it or leave it" attitude so I would proceed with caution.
