Just recently had a VW passat engine fixed, you will not find a more honest and reasonably priced mechanic in Chula Vista. Jr takes his time to explain the diagnosis procedure and lets you know the cost of repairs before moving forward. I have no problems refereeing friends and family to his shop which all have great things to say about his service and commitment to customer needs. Mechanics and lawyers get a bad wrap for being dishonest but when you find a good honest one stick with them for good results.
If you wanna get robbed go here. They promised me they could fix all the problems to pass smog. They said everything was going to be 500$ and that IT WILL be able to pass smog. After I picked it up they told me to bring it back a week later; I go there and they told me “oh no there’s another code and we can’t fix that you’re gonna have to take it somewhere else for that.” I got so mad cause they’re even shady with the receipt. Excellent customer service from the time you show up you get greeted with a smile
My Audi was an absolute nightmare. I had another shop that I was loyal to working on it and they didn't even come close to what JR did for me here. The price was fair and the work was done right. There's definitely some other things needed, but for him to go in there and do engine work related to a leak, turbo work related to a lose connection, and getting up and running, he did a great job. Definitely loyal to him now vs my old guy.
