A few things stand out about this place. Commercial gyms have their place, I'm still keeping my membership to EOS, they are huge, have big amenities but come with some downsides, the crowds, the lack of specialized machines etc. What I love about Butlers is the location. Working in Sugar House give me a few options, Vasa, a few MMA gyms, a few trainer specific gyms, but nothing great. They have a Bane mural. These guys get it. Great gym.
Was in town for work and owner communicated quickly on Sunday through email about day pass entry instructions. Ton of equipment, great music, and plenty of space to work out. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
