Our cats were adopted and had worms. We went to Bute St vet clinic and three times they gave us a treatment after viewing and diagnosing the parasite. After the third failed treatment, excessive steam cleaning and professional house cleaning, the parasite persisted. We went back and it turns out what they were given us is commonly known to NOT treat that parasite! Where do I start! A long expensive experience with this vet and his diagnosis. We were told our dog was diabetic, possibly had Cushings and a brain tumor. Needed to be on a special diet buying kidney and diabetic food from them. We had to do repeated blood work for upcoming surgery and in the end we were told the surgery couldn't be done there but we would need to go to Victoria and do diagnostic imaging prior to surgery.
