Absolutely beautiful little pub, we arrived right on 12 noon on a 37⁰ day and this Oasis of a town did not disappoint. The Bute hotel is across from the painted silos so after our delicious burgers in the refreshing aircon we got a picture of them as well. I recommend stopping for lunch if you're on your way through. Truely a beautiful little town
Had a fairly good pizza and beer here with the fam. Apparently the days of bar chicks providing great informal chat and friendly service have bypassed the Bute hotel scene. We received an interesting blend of awkward, weird and uncomfortable from our worker. I appreciate that a lack of body confidence is real but c’mon mate - have a laugh, start a conversation, or maybe just crack a smile. Hopefully the owner can arrange a personality transplant urgently - the pub vibe depends largely on the person pulling the beers.
