SNS123 needs to reevaluate Harry's in Lee's Summit. Your brake light switch weighs 2 ounces. If the switch was installed wrong your brake lights would be on all the time. It would also have broken after about 3 minutes. Bad coincidence.
I've been by this shop a few times and they are great folks. The worked me in on a quick state inspection and they also inspected a vehicle for us prior to purchasing without charging us a dime. I know my wife appreciated that gesture. We will be using this shop for our needs going forward.
I DID TELL MY BEST FRIEND ABOUT THIS PLACE AND HE HAS HAD HIS VEHICLE SERVICED THERE ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, AS HAVE I. I HAD A FUEL PUMP PUT IN, I HAD A COMPLETE TUNEUP DONE, OIL CHANGE HOSES REPLACED, ALL AT DIFFERENT TIMES, THEY EVEN GAVE ME A RIDE HOME AND PICKED ME UP, THEY ARE GENUINE PEOPLE, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE THERE NAME TO PEOPLE I KNOW, THANK YOU BUTCH AND BUTCH!!!
DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!! I needed a simple stoplight switch replaced on my vehicle (a $35 part). This light is what turns your brake lights on. A simple procedure that took about 30 minutes to do. That same day my brakes had locked up, I was barely able to accelerate, and I had smoke coming from the side, front of my vehicle. I had it towed to Harry's in Lee's Summit.
