Really enjoyed Butcher & Barrel. The old bank setting gives it a lot of character and the whole place just feels comfortable. I went for the best steak on the menu because why not, and it was absolutely worth it. What stood out to me was that it did not feel like somewhere you just eat and leave. Sat upstairs. Try to have them seat you downstairs. Shrimp appetizers are ok. A bit warmer than desired and presentation was a C. However Filets were cooked to Med Rare perfection. Limited but good wine selection. Hits way above grade for this area and highly recommend. Be patient on food.
Absolutely delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. Service was fabulous. Amy was very helpful with recommendations.
We were really looking forward to dinner here, especially given the price and reputation, but unfortunately the steaks were disappointing. My ribeye was cooked properly but noticeably underseasoned and very bland. My wife's filet was worse. It was burnt on the outside and also underseasoned.
