Most well-stocked mom n’ pop hardware store around. Super helpful staff, very fair prices, always have plenty of what you need, or if, on the rare chance they don’t have it, they’ll get it for ya really fast. I love supporting local small businesses and this is such a stellar example of one. They keep their prices really low too. Best hardware store around for miles
RecommendedOkay, I am late to the news, but I am SO sad. I have been shopping there since 1982. heartbroken! I am so tired of what has happened to my beloved Santa Monica and the west side! things are definitely NOT the same or even close. I am sad about all the employees there and for the person who wanted to buy it and couldn't. Thank you for always being there and for remaining one of the very few places that really had our backs and cared about us! I hope Don didn't suffer.

I bring my dog, General Grant, in with me and they welcome him in the store ~ always. This means the world to me. It is also great that a fellow works there whose name is Grant, ha ~ we always joke about this, we call it Grant Squared! This is a wonderful neighborhood hardware store ~ I love that they save me a trip to Home Depot, and it feels good to support a locally owned store, rather than a big chain. I went here to buy house keys. Waited in dingy area for about 10 minutes. Finally my turn. Had three keys made. Brought them home; they don't work!! Literally don't even go into the lock. DON'T EVER SHOP AT THIS DUMP!!!
No other store compares While I also shop Home Depot and OSH, I have taken a number at Busy Bee scores of times and have never had a bad experience. No other store has clerks who will spend the time (on one occasion almost 20 minutes) helping you find exactly what you need. The only drawback is parking, which is limited to street meters and often unavailable.
Surprisingly RUDE, RUDE beehole Funny what opposite experiences people have with customer svc-geez, when did you all go? I've been 2 times-NEVER got the slightest help, young workers didn't know anything nor want to help. Items are stacked floor to ceiling and you will want to pull a number to ensure assistance from one of their knowledgeable staff members. While it is often difficult to find items on your own the staff will gladly help (and will often give you ideas on how to do the task at had in an easier fashion).
