While working in the Area I stopped by The Busy Bee Cafe, Lauren F. Was amazing the food was awesome it was a nice place to have Lunch and definitely will return to have Breakfast!! Still worth the trip to Alvin! Still wonderful food! Wife said their beef liver was the best she ever had and she could cut it with a fork! We still need to go there more often... Great country cookin, worth the drive from Angleton to Alvin for their country fried steaks and mashed potatoes, while wife loves the beef liver and onions with white gravy...
Wonderful home cooked meal. The chicken fried steak was awesome. The sides were seasoned to perfection. Staff was friendly and attentive.
I've been coming here for over 30 years. The quality of the food is always extremely fresh, the portions are LARGE! and delicious too! I know that they use only fresh, never frozen meats. The price of every dish is well worth it, but not expensive at all, specially when the food is fresh, made to order, and you get enough to have leftovers to take home. Win, win, win!!!
