Unresponsive - I’ve been approached by a number of people claiming the B&B are a scam. I don’t know about that but orders have been placed for wedding dresses and they’ve not been delivered - no response to mails or calls - this is a very common story. One chap told me they’ve lost thousands as his wife to be had to buy another dress. We were lucky; my wife eventually got her dress but not a good experience at all. Please do not purchase your wedding dress from this company. Whilst Leigh is lovely whilst you are in the store, communication after is non existent. It was only after I reminded them of their legal obligations that my dress was delivered. I still have not received my veil and will be communicating with the credit card company to attempt to recoup the cost of the veil.
I booked an appointment in November last year for my sister, her wedding being this November so giving us plenty of time. The appointment was actually very enjoyable and we found my sisters perfect dress and paid in full. Fast forward to last month, my sister was contacted by the dress designer (not bustle & bow). Don’t touch this shop with a barge pole if you want a stress free wedding. To cut a long story short, I paid Leigh over £2200 for my daughter’s wedding dress in Sept 2023 (the wedding is Aug 2024). Eight weeks before the wedding my daughter tried to contact Bustle & Bow to arrange her first fitting, as recommended by Leigh when we bought the dress. I have no words for the service or lack of service I have received at Bustle and Bow. Leigh is very attentive and helpful at the point of buying a dress and after that becomes uncontactable. During this time I read other reviews from brides that have experienced the same. I simply wanted to collect the shoes I had ordered over two months before and arrange for a fitting.
