A few years in a row I thought about doing my taxes myself and then seeing where I was going to get a refund or owe money. Then having business tax solutions do my taxes every time I have saved so much more. I'm not going anywhere else. I'm going to have them do my taxes every year. This year was definitely one of those. I thought I was going to owe money and they got me back a huge refund and they worked with me when times were tough. Can't say enough good things about these guys!
This has been by far the worst experience I've had with tax preparation. Like many others who’ve shared their frustrations here, BTS was recommended to me by NCH. Now, in 2025, my 2023 taxes are still not filed correctly. I provided all my documents to them in the beginning of 2024. Every time I reach out to BTS, the only explanation I get is, “Sorry, this fell through the cracks.” Save yourself the stress and frustration—take your business elsewhere.
Worst experience. And I am shocked to read my exact experience described by other clients in the “one star” reviews section. They were recommended to me by a legal firm- NCH. They filed an extension last minute causing me interest penalties (even though I got them all my stuff in Jan/Feb). Completely failed to file for one of our companies causing late fees and penalties. I paid and submitted my paperwork for my business and personal taxes in January and, almost a year later, and after many calls and emails inquiries, my taxes are still not completed.
Business Tax Solutions was initially recommended to me by the company handling my LLC registration and legal work. This is the second and last year I will be using their services. Their main corporate issue is their (lack of) communication and their unsound process. For my tax year, first they filed for an extension, and then they completely forgot to file my taxes on time on Oct 15th, putting me at risk with the IRS (possibly every American's biggest fear) and liable for all sort of fees or penalties.
