We stayed in this house for a week. It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with kitchenware. The laundry room had everything we needed, and there was a barbecue outside for us to use. Best of all, there was a wood-burning stove and plenty of firewood to keep us warm during the chilly season. The outdoor setting is beautiful, with plenty of birds and wild kangaroos to be seen, and it’s only a 10-minute drive from the town centre. All in all, it’s well worth recommending, and we’ve already started planning our next visit.

Delightful oldstyle homestead, well appointed, great setting. If you are a visitor looking for the feel of a house in the bush, but still close to civilization (Margaret River) and the sea (river mouth, surfers point) I recommend this place. It comes stocked with everything you could need ( Wifi, air fryer, a selection of good toys for little ones) and has a garden going down to ponds with a big tree swing. We enjoyed the peace, kids enjoyed the running about.
