Like most veterinary practices I’ve encountered in the New York metro area, this business preys on the understandably close connection most people have with their pets by presenting them with diagnostic and treatment options that extend far beyond what’s recommended as industry-standard as if they’re bare minimum, overcharging for all of them, and making you feel cheap/inadequate/cruel for not moving forward with them. I've been taking my cats here for 4 years and only had good experiences with my annual checkups. During the appointments, the team is professional and caring. However, the clinic does not accommodate sick visits. When my cat became sick and needed a checkup and antibiotics ASAP, they could only offer an appt that was 2 weeks away. It's disappointing, and I think a vet clinic should allow space for emergency walk-ins daily, or at least work with an ongoing client to find a 15 minute slot to see a sick pet in the next 1-3 days... read more

These guys really dropped the ball on a medical emergency. The attitude of the staff was that they really didn't care or try to fix the issue. This all. took place while trying to treat a life-threatening diagnosis. They didn't have enough of the prescription my dog needed which is understandable, but they did nothing to ensure I had enough of the medication for the entire treatment, and no one communicated properly with me. I had a very upsetting experience here and will not be returning with my pets. A few weeks ago, my first cat had a dental cleaning. While my cat was already sedated, I received a phone call telling me that eight teeth needed to be extracted and that I needed to make a decision quickly. I consented, but I was uncomfortable being asked to approve eight extractions without first seeing my first cat’s dental X-rays or having the findings explained in detail.
