The reception staff are not helpful or understanding, they don’t seem to care about you or your pet. Getting answers to my questions over the phone is always difficult, and it feels like they want to do as little as possible in order to get you to hang up. I brought my 16 year old dog in to get a refill for apoquel since they wouldn’t do it over the phone. My appointment was on Dec 31 at 5pm. I was sitting in the waiting room till 5:45. When i was brought to the exam room with my dog an assistant asked why we are there. I mentioned for a refill. She asked some questions then said the vet will be in shortly. Bushwick Vet has been so good to me and my pet. I really trust them with my chronically ill Pomeranian, and Dr. Taie has always been so attentive and caring with her. Navigating scary symptoms and diagnoses is truly made better by people who actually care about your pet's well being. From the secretaries to the techs, I am truly grateful for all of the help and support over the years. These folks truly love animals!
