Bushwhacker Limited Once you step inside this store you think you're in the best place to buy ski/backpacking, etc. equipment. It's a beautiful well set out store; however, the sales staff are not the best at pointing you in the right direction for what you are looking for. The prices are quite a bit higher than other stores, and you're not necessarily getting better service. If you know exactly what you want, it might be a good place to go.

freindly knowledgeable staff I have been going to Bushwhacker for years. The staff is friendly and makes it apparently they are there to get you the information you need and the products that fit you best. With each season there is always something new to look at and dream about. If you're into the outdoors, or just like cool gear check them out. They do not disappoint.
Get what you want How you want it Bushwhacker's has been around for more than 30 years, and they know what they're doing. The staff can help you find the perfect set of skis, a new bike, boots, or even a gift for the outdoors person on your list. I have been going there for years for Smartwool socks, and recently purchased a new bike. They make shopping easy and fun. I love hearing their stories and sharing my own. Check them out if you want to enjoy the outdoors in central Illinois.
Get your ski rentals here Staff is very knowledgeable about equipment sold in the store. Bushwacker also sells many different types of equipment from canoes to bicycles to skis. Also, if you plan on going skiing check out Bushwacker for ski rental. They will fit you correctly with a set of skis that will be much better and lower cost then what you will find at the ski resort.
Good inventory, very knowledgeable staff... The best aspect of the store is that the staff not only knows a lot about the products they sell, but they also take part in the sports and activities that their merchandise is for, so they have great advice. Good inventory and location.
