I met with Dr. Amin on 10/6/2021. I was excited to have a female doctor of color treat me. I went to her sick with nausea I had for weeks, and she dismissed me, writing in her chart that I was just a stressed-out single mother of three. I have been married for 15 years and own my home; the only stress was that unbearable nausea at that time.
