Nearly got fobbed off with an excuse re; repeat Script. Please ensure your receptionists know what they are doing. These sort of things are happening on regular bases
As a long standing elderly patient, I have always been impressed by the reception staff's professional approach, kind and patient attitude. Whenever I need to speak to a GP they do their best to arrange and I have also been impressed by the GP's kindness and understanding. They have endeavoured to help me by making a diagnosis to treat my age related problems.
I have been trying to get an appointment for the last 2 days now and both times I have rang at exactly 8am, to then be added onto the callback list. When I finally get a callback there are no appointments left. I have been trying to find out my scan results from my scan that I had last week for 2 days now and it’s causing my anxiety to go through the roof. The receptionist has no empathy either, she seems as if she just doesn’t care. Not happy at all.
Doctors will dish out antidepressants like candy but aren’t willing to listen and help with the actual cause of your depression, the nhs is a joke
Very disappointed with lack of care. Reception show no empathy or interest in individual circumstances. Poor accessibility as told to do everything on line or by e mail. Told no one on premises to make complaint to. That would have to wait till next day for someone to contact me. If that is standard procedure then it shouldnt be. There should be someone to register concern to even though acknowledging they may need more time to respond to it fully.
