I absolutely love the Pepperberry Rub on almost everything, but used the Orange Mountain Rub on my baked sweet potatoes yesterday and it was scrumptious! I got the starter kit recently to try all the flavours and will be purchasing the full size ones soon!
I really enjoyed baking my 5 half racks of Baby back ribs in the oven at a low temperature 0f 225 for 4 hours, applying 60% of Frostberry rub and 40% Pepperberry rub. For the final hour I coated with BBQ sauce with more Frostberry added. Broiled for the las t3 minutes or so to give blackened look and taste. I would do it again for sure.
These spice blends are unique and absolutely delicious! As a rub on pretty much any protein they amp up the flavour and just the smell coming off the BBQ or the pan gets your mouth watering. Also make great dips and sauces. Try these...you will not be disappointed!!!!
Johnny Bybs has created such unique and tasty products, it's unlikely you will find anything like it anywhere. Period. The Pepperberry spice-rub from Australia absolutely explodes with flavour and is so great on steaks and chops. There is fantastic versatility across all the products. Great on veg and fries too. Check it out for something new !
