I called customer service to ask about a check I received in my late mother-in law's estate (I am the executor of the will) and how to deposit it, etc. A week later my wife and I received a candle in the mail along with a note saying how sorry they (Busey) were to hear about her passing. I don't have millions at Busey and I'm probably one of their smaller clients which makes this review so genuine. We were really touched by this - talk about great customer service!! Terrible. Went to change coins into paper bills, found out there was a 10% of the amount changed fee. Talk about usury! Then they said if you open an account they will waive the fee, this however wasn't true, then it was open a business account and we will waive the fee. All the while they are holding our hundreds of dollars of coins hostage and refuse to return them to us when we refused to pay the fee.
