BEWARE THE BANK CAN CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND REFUSE TO PAY EARNED INTEREST! FYI, Busey Bank paid my interest after I filed complaint to CFPB.
The new online banking program leaves much to be desired! If you have more than one account at Busey bank, getting the bill pay to properly withdraw from the correct account can be quite challenging and leave you with bounced checks if you aren't careful. They even walked me through setting up the default to insure that it paid from the correct account and this proved to be unsuccessful. It defaulted right back to the wrong account. They claim each transaction is covered by the FDIC amd how safe It is to use Zelle through their bank, but if you send money be prepared to kiss it goodbye if recipient is a fraud. They'll tell you it's your fault that you didn't know any better. Your better off with PayPal. At least with PayPal you can dispute it and get your money back. Using Zelle through Busey is only safe they said if you are the one receiving money. Which makes absolutely no sense. Yea I'm switching banks.
