Update. It has been 7 weeks since the town told me Busby would reset my mailbox to within the USPS guidelines and still nothing. The Salem, NH capital projects engineer either lied to me or Busby broke my mailbox and is avoiding responsibility trying to hide it. My town hired them to repair drainage and repave my street and it has absolutely been a horrible experience as a resident. My irrigation system was destroyed, my mailbox got reset and maybe half the hieght it was previously set. My driveway grade during construction ... read more

I live in Salem, NH. A couple of weeks ago (now 7/22/24) Busby Construction showed up in the neighborhood to widen end repave 2 side streets. Suddenly equipment appeared without notification from the town. The Salem Capital Projects Engineer is seriously deficient in public outreach to give advance notice to residents of "what's going on". He accused me of "not doing my due diligence". Really?! Retired now, during my career, I worked on several Capital projects.
